This year has been a thrilling, jam-packed twelve months of growth, learning, collaborations, events, innovations and beautiful lighting, bulbs, switches and sockets. Join us in a round-up of what we’ve been up to in 2024...

New Showrooms

We are thrilled to now have two fabulous creative spaces where you can engage with our collections. You told us two years ago at Decorex that touching and seeing our lighting in person truly exemplifies the quality, high performance and attention to detail that we pour into our products. We waited for the right opportunity and now you can visit us in the Avenue at Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, London, where we share a showroom with Simpsons, or pop into Olive & Barr’s new flagship store in Tenbury Wells.

Shows & Events

Exhibiting at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for the first time was a highlight this year and we were thrilled to be awarded a 5-star rating for our stand! We met so many fabulous people and returning to Decorex was as fantastically frenetic and fun packed as ever. The opportunity to demonstrate our latest lighting and technical developments, to listen live to our customer feedback and ideas, whilst collaborating with wonderful people and brands that we love and admire, is a pure delight. Our showroom saw design talks on The Journey to B Corp and The Art of Metallics, proving an important platform to meet, greet and learn from fellow design creatives and industry heavyweights.

Awards Success

Our schools’ initiative, The Cleaner Ocean Project, garnered a clutch of award nominations, winning Country and Town House Magazine’s Championing Community accolade. Our innovative and elegant Bespoke Engraving picked up two awards at LivingEtc’s celebrated Style Awards - the Best Finishing Touch and Best in Class.

Creative Collaborations

We love nothing more than joining forces with people and brands who are striving to create a more sustainable world. This year, it has been a huge pleasure to work with Edward Bulmer Natural Paint, Ca’ Pietra, Beautiful By George, @Monalogue, to name but a few.

Our fabulous Social Community

It’s been an incredible year on socials, collaborating with so many wonderful brands and creatives - every tag and share means so much to us. We’ve had the pleasure of seeing our lights featured in countless inspiring homes and renovations such as @manwithahammer @locationhouseofbeau, and @renovationhq. 

Notable Newness

This year saw the launch of new additions to our Glass Library, Ocean and Linen Collections. Our Primed Paintable sockets and switches allowed clients to create a cohesive or contrasting interior look, while the elegant and practical Chelsea Up and Down Light illuminated Outdoor Lighting. 

Innovations

Our Smart Dimming Toggles continued to hit the headlines as we further developed this pioneering technology. Now compatible with the Zigbee Smart Dimmer Module, this innovative tech allows for smart control through a phone or tablet, or voice activated through a compatible hub – such as Alexa and Google - meaning you can dim, turn your lights on and off, and even pre-set ambient moods for different times of the day.  And all the technology you need sits neatly behind your switch with no complex, costly home automation installation!

Our highly anticipated collaboration with Historic Royal Palaces will be unveiled in the new year with an exciting Royal launch, soon to be revealed. We are at the final assessment stage in our B Corp adventure, and our Outdoor Lighting offering is set to include an elegant marine-grade steel finish.
